In honor of my mom on MLK Day 2020

The above briefly addresses my mom’s life’s work dedicated to social justice and education. Some of the things not mentioned are the outstanding shoe design award in NYC in 1953 while she was a student at FIT, and her work creating the first school for handicapped children in the western United States in the early 80s for which she was listed in Who’s Who American Women of the West… and so many other amazing things….but the typo lets me know she is still around (she had a thing for them!). Her kind and compassionate heart touched many lives. I miss her more than words can express.
